Wolverines Shut Out By Utah

Orem, UT The Utah Valley State softball team lost 8-0 to Utah on Friday. Three different Utah pitchers combined to toss a no-hitter in the five inning game. Lindsie Nielsen earned the win while Jackie Roberts suffered the loss for Utah Valley. Utah had 11 hits in the game.

The score was tied at zero after three innings but the Wolverines committed two errors that helped the Utes score four runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

Utah Valley had two runners reach base in the game. Rachel Hartgrove reached on an error and Emily Zupan walked.
