Wolverines Begin Week With Utah on Tuesday

OREM, Utah - Utah Valley volleyball has won four straight heading into a busy week that includes two in-state rivals. UV (16-6) hosts Utah (7-11) on Tuesday before playing at Utah State (11-10) on Thursday. The week concludes with a home match against Idaho State (3-15) on Saturday. All three matches begin at 7pm.

Thursday's match at Utah State will feature Gametracker and can also be viewed live for $4.95 by going to www.UtahState.tv.

The Wolverines defeated Boise State in four games last Thursday before sweeping Texas-Pan American on Saturday in Edinburg, Texas.

In the two wins, Allyce Wilson tallied 62 digs (8.85 dpg) to up her independent leading total to 5.8 per game.

Wilson was tabbed as the Division I Independent Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season on Monday.

Meagan Bluth was named Independent Offensive Player of the Week as well, marking the fourth straight week that a Wolverines has earned the award.

Bluth hit .552 last week and had 25 kills (3.57 kpg). She had 15 kills and hit .565 in the win over BSU and totaled six block assists (.857) on the week.
