OREM, Utah – The Utah Valley University Athletics Department finalized an ongoing partnership with Vivature on Wednesday. The partnership exceeds more than $60,000 over the next year.

Vivature's services will pave the way to update and enhance Utah Valley's athletic training rooms, with more innovative equipment to help better serve the dedicated student-athletes. Each additional improvement will quicken the road to recovery for UVU's student-athletes and allow them access to additional healthcare facilities and providers.
 
"This is a monumental step. Since we started Vivature, it has been my goal to forever change an athletic training room and the way that they function. This is just another step towards achieving that goal," said Vivature Director Lance Wilson, who was on hand Wednesday to present the school with a check. "We've basically been able to turn the work that the athletic trainers have been doing into the revenue that they rightfully deserve."
 
UVU sports medicine began using the Vivature software over a year ago to track injuries. Effective documentation of treatment, therapy, and reports has been the most important tool in implementing Vivature. Not only is it important to any healthcare facility, detailed statements of athletic training services provide critical communication and follow through for student-athlete injuries.
