WOLVERINES HOST NEW MEXICO STATE, UTRGV
The Utah Valley University women's soccer team looks to keep its unbeaten streak at home alive this week as the Wolverines welcome WAC foes New Mexico State and Texas Rio Grande Valley to Clyde Field. The team takes on NM State at 7 p.m. on Friday before facing UTRGV on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Utah Valley (7-4-1, 2-0-1) returns to Clyde Field where the Wolverines are 5-0-1 this season. With its road sweep last week, Utah Valley is now tied with CSU Bakersfield for the top spot in the WAC standings with seven points.

"I really liked the energy the team played with at UMKC and Chicago this past weekend," said Utah Valley head coach Brent Anderson. "Looking over the game film and the stats from those games it is clear that we will have to be sharper this weekend to get the same positive results. The team has looked good in training over the past few days and I am looking forward to seeing their progress in these next two matches. We know that both NMSU and UTRGV are good teams and can be very difficult to play against so we will need to be at our best for both of these matches."

UVU swept its WAC road trip last week, defeating Missouri-Kansas City 1-0 before downing Chicago State 7-1.  Six different players scored a goal for the Wolverines over the two matches last week. 10 different players have put a ball in the back of the net this year for UVU. The team leads the WAC with 28 goals this season.

Sheridan Fox currently leads the team and the WAC in scoring with six goals, followed by Jamie Brown with four. Kasandra Anderson, Libby Weber and Kali Stubbs each have three scores. Senior goalkeeper Jessica Duffin leads the defensive effort with seven wins, four shutouts and 46 saves in the box this year.
