OREM, Utah—The Utah Valley University men's basketball team will play the first of five straight road games on Saturday as the Wolverines travel to Pocatello, Idaho to take on cross-state rival Idaho State at Holt Arena.

Utah Valley (3-6) looks to pick up its first road win of the season as it heads into Saturday's matchup against the Bengals. The Wolverines hold a 0-3 record on the road this season.

The Wolverines picked up a thrilling 84-81 double overtime win over in-state rival Weber State on Wednesday night at the UCCU Center.Â
Jaden Jackson scored a career-high 23 points and
Konner Frey added a 22-point, 10-rebound double-double in the win.
Marcel Davis recorded his fifth double digit scoring game of the season with 16 points. He also pulled down five rebounds, dished out three assists and registered three steals.
Andrew Bastien, who recorded seven blocks in Saturday's game against Southern Utah, picked up four more against Wildcats.

Frey leads Utah Valley in both scoring and rebounding at 16.2 points and 7.6 rebounds a game. Jackson and Davis also average double figures at 11.7 and 11.6 points per game, respectively.

Idaho State enters Saturday's game with a 3-4 overall record. The Bengals return home to host the Wolverines after playing five straight on the road. ISU went 1-4 over its recent road stretch, concluding the trip with a 66-65 win at Portland on Tuesday night.

In the win over Portland on Tuesday, junior forward Kyle Ingram tipped in a shot with six second remaining to lift Idaho State to the 66-65 win. Junior guard Ethan Telfair led in scoring with 21 points, scoring 19 in the second half. Freshman guard Gary Chivichyan helped with 18 points on six shots from beyond the arc. Sophomore guard Ali Faruq-bey leads the team in scoring this season at 16.1 points a game. Telfair and sophomore guard Geno Luzcando also average double digit scoring at 15.0 and 10.1 points per game.

Saturday night's meeting between Utah Valley and Idaho State marks the eighth time that the two schools have met on the basketball hardwood. The Bengals hold an all-time 4-3 series advantage over the Wolverines. Utah Valley has won two straight over the Bengals, both of which came last season. UVU defeated ISU 60-57 in Pocatello before taking a 51-47 victory in Orem last season. Utah Valley's win in Pocatello last year marked the team's first-ever win over the Bengals in the Gate City.

Saturday night's game will tip-off at 7 p.m., and will be broadcast live on ESPN 960 AM radio with Jim McCulloch handling the play-by-play duties.
