Appeared in 25 games, making 6 starts for Utah Valley ... averaged 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 9.8 minutes per game ... set a school record for field goal percentage for a season at 63.6 percent ... ranked second on the team in blocks with 17 blocks ... scored a season high 8 points on 4-for-5 shooting from the field in a win over Chicago State ... led the team in rebounding with 10 rebounds in a win against Seattle (March 9) ... grabbed a season high 12 rebounds in a career high 38 minutes in a quadruple overtime game against Cal State Bakersfield (March 10) ... named Academic All-WAC ... named to the NABC Honor's Court.

JUNIOR (2015-16)
Played in 26 games and made 23 starts for UVU despite being hampered by injury all season ... averaged 3.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game ... knocked down 44.4 percent of his shots from the field ... scored a season-high nine points against UNC Wilmington (Dec. 22) ... was just shy of a double-double with a game-high nine rebounds and a career-high seven blocks against Southern Utah (Dec. 5) ... the seven blocks tied him with Ben Aird (2012) for the second-most blocks ever recorded in a single game in UVU history ... pulled down 11 rebounds in a win over Great Falls (Nov. 14) ... also had 10 rebounds in a road win at UTSA (Dec. 19).

BEFORE UTAH VALLEY
Played at Irvine Valley College in California for two seasons ... earned first team All-Orange Empire Conference honors after averaging 8.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and a league-best 1.7 blocks per game as a junior.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Orange Lutheran High School where he helped the team to back-to-back CIF championships in 2011 and 2012 ... set a school record at OLHS with eight blocks in a single game during his junior season.

PERSONAL
Born March 12, 1994 ... parents are Gary and Karen Bastien ... his one brother (Gary) and one sister (Brooke) ... his brother Gary rowed four years varsity crew at the University of San Diego ... played AAU basketball for MOC.
