Donte Williams each scored 13 points to lead the Utah Valley University men's basketball team in a 65-44 setback to Chicago State Saturday at the Jones Convocation Center.

Chicago State improves to 8-22 overall and 4-9 in WAC play. Utah Valley falls to 10-18 overall and 4-9 in league play.

"Chicago State played with tremendous energy," said Utah Valley head coach Dick Hunsaker. "They did a great job in their traps and zone pressure against us. We obviously have to do a better job of handling the ball and get better prepared for senior night on Saturday."

Evans scored his 13 points on a 6-of-8 shooting performance from the field and a 1-for-1 mark at the charity stripe. Williams tallied his 13 points on a 4-of-15 clip from the field, including three made shots from beyond the arc.

Mitch Bruneel scored six points and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.
Zach Nelson recorded seven rebounds with four points, four assists, two steals and a block.

Clarke Rosenberg led Chicago State with a game-high 26 points while Sean Hill added 17 for the Cougars.

Utah Valley will wrap up regular season play on Saturday, March 7 at home against Bakersfield at the UCCU Center. UVU's three seniors will be honored prior to tip-off, which is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. MT.
