WOLVERINES HOST TITANS IN FINAL NON-CONFERENCE MATCHUtah Valley University will wrap up its non-conference slate against Cal State Fullerton on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Clyde Field. Thursday's match is part of Homecoming Week at UVU and will air on the WAC Digital Network and UVU TV.
The Wolverines (6-2-0), who have been home just twice in eight matches so far this season, will play their next three games at home after splitting a two-game trip through Gonzaga and Denver last weekend.

Greg Maas said. "Thursday is going to be electric, and our players can't wait to embrace the moment at Clyde Field with our 12th Wolverines."
ABOUT THE OPPOSITIONCal State Fullerton (4-3-0) lost its first two matches of the year on the road but have won four of five since, including a 1-0 win over the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley last Sunday. Fullerton also hosts another WAC school, Grand Canyon, on this coming Sunday.
The reigning Big West Tournament Champion Titans are one of three 2014 NCAA Tournament qualifiers on UVU's 2015 schedule. Diego Sanchez leads the team with three goals while Brandon West has added two. Goalkeeper David Elias has logged every minute in goal for Fullerton, and has recorded three shutouts.
LAST TIME OUTIn last week's action, the Wolverines picked up a 1-0 road win at Gonzaga with freshman
Aaron Meyer scoring the game's only goal on a free kick in the 12th minute of action. That score held with
Collin Partee notching his third shutout of the season.
On Sunday, Utah Valley lost an overtime heartbreaker at then-No. 15 Denver in the 94th minute, 2-1. The Pioneers are ranked 12th by the NSCAA and 10th by College Soccer News this week. Meyer scored his third goal of the year, tying the match in the with 20 minutes left on the clock to help force overtime.
UP NEXTThe Wolverines open the 10-game WAC schedule next week, on Friday, Oct. 2, against Air Force at 7 p.m. at Clyde Field. They'll also host Missouri-Kansas City on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
