Deijah Blanks (2-3) also connected on 3-pointers in the game. Agnew finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and eight assists finishing just shy of a triple-double.

"This is huge for us, when we started practicing last fall, we said that we wanted to be playing our best basketball at this time of year, and I think we are reaching that goal," head coach
Cathy Nixon said. "Honoring our seniors made tonight feel like an ending, but its just the beginning for us. Our Grand Canyon game next weekend is probably the most important game we will play all year, but our fate is in our own hands."

The Wolverines raced out to a 20-5 lead after the first quarter, before scoring 28 points in the second quarter to secure the victory. UVU increased the halftime advantage to 26, hitting nearly 60 percent in the second quarter on its way to a season-high 48 points at halftime.

Utah Valley will travel to Phoenix for their last regular season contest at Grand Canyon University on Saturday, March 5. Â The contest will determine Utah Valley's regular season standings and seed for the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on March 9-12 in Las Vegas. Currently, the Wolverines are in second place with one game to go and pending the outcome of Saturday night's UTRGV game against Chicago State, UVU will either be alone in second or tied heading into the final week of the regular season.Â
