At Utah Valley... 

SOPHOMORE (2015-16): Deijah Blanks shot a perfect night from the floor on Feb. 18 to help the Wolverines defeat Chicago State 79-71….she went 10-10 on the night, (including 2-2 from 3FG), and 7-7 from the charity stripe for a career-high 29 points….earned UVU school record for an individual player’s field goal percentage with 100 percent with a minimum of 10 field goals made… first Wolverine to shoot a perfect night with a minimum of 10 field goals made… became just the fourth player this season in all of NCAA Division I to be perfect with 10 or more shots made (10-10 FG)…Blanks became the only woman in the country (Div. 1) to have shot a perfect night from FG, 3FG, FT, with minimum 10 FGs made… named to the NCAA Women’s Basketball “Starting Five” for the week of February 24, highlighting five outstanding performers from the Division I level every week… also picked up a career high 10 rebounds, and her first career double-double (29 pts, 10 rebs)…averaged 8.4 ppg and 4.4 rpg..played in all 31 contests and started in 14…shot 45.9 percent from the field on the season..averaged 11.1 ppg in conference play…shot 80 percent from the free throw line… 

FRESHMAN (2014-15): Appeared in 29 games as a true freshman and started in 13...averaged 3.2 points, 2.6 rebounds in 13.2 minutes...had a season-high 14 points at New Mexico State on February 19 to go along with 5 rebounds...had a season-high 8 rebounds with 9 points  against Texas Pan-American on January 22...recorded first double-digit point total of her career with 11 points against Bakersfield on February 5...shot 42 percent (37-88) from the field, 71 percent (20-28) from the free throw line.

Before Utah Valley... 
Prepped at Mount Miguel High School ... Player of the year Grossmont Valley League  two consecutive years ... First Team All-CIF ... First Team All-State ... Mount Miguel earned 14 consecutive league titles with Blanks ... semi-finals in CIF... semi-finals State Championships... contributed to 74 consecutive league wins ... also ran track.. also recruited by New Mexico State, Fresno State, CSU Northridge and CSU Dominguez Hills.

Born July 3, 1996... hails from San Diego, Calif ... parents are Cassandra Edwards and Bryan Blanks ... plans to major in biology... graduated high school in 2014 with a 3.20 GPA ...volunteered in Link Crew leadership club...volunteered at Avendale Elementary School, M.S. Run, and New Creation Church feeding the homeless...first language was French.
