KANSAS CITY—The Utah Valley University women's soccer team has earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year. The award is granted to college teams that post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. A total of 989 soccer teams (345 men, 644 women) from all divisions were honored.
 
Utah Valley was one of just 255 schools that received the award for both their men's and women's programs.
 
Utah Valley's women were one of six teams in the WAC to earn the honor. Of those WAC teams, Utah Valley posted the highest team GPA at 3.63.
