WAC title on the line at Seattle U on Saturday night

WAC REGULAR SEASON TITLE ON THE LINE AT SEATTLE U ON SATURDAY NIGHT
The Wolverines will play for a share of the WAC regular season title on Saturday against Seattle U in The Evergreen State. Kick-off is set for 8 p.m. Saturday's match in Seattle will wrap up regular season play for the Wolverines. The team will remain in the Emerald City to play in the WAC Tournament next week.

A win over Seattle U on Saturday would give the Wolverines a share of the WAC regular season title with California Baptist, which has already wrapped up its season. It would mark the first WAC regular season title in school history.

UVU went a perfect 2-0 last week to wrap up its home slate. The Wolverines defeated UT Rio Grande Valley, 3-1, before shutting out Grand Canyon, 1-0. Breanna DeWaal recorded a brace, including the game winner in UVU's 3-1 win over UTRGV. Jocelyn Bybee also found the back of the net against the Vaqueros. Amber Tripp scored the lone goal in the 1-0 shutout win over Grand Canyon. Allie Jara picked up her fifth complete shutout win against the 'Lopes.

Tripp and Julianna Carter are tied for the team lead in scoring with six goals each. Bybee has scored four goals, followed by DeWaal, McCormick, and Jenna Shepherd with three apiece. Sadie Brockbank has two goals this season, while Heather Stainbrook, McKenzie Humpherys and McKayla Montgomery each have one. Tripp leads the team in points with 17, followed by Carter with 13 and Bybee with 11. Tripp also fronts the team with 38 shots. Jara leads the team in the box with 48 saves and a .750 save percentage. She has nine wins and five shutouts.

CARTER RANKS EIGHTH IN THE NATION IN SHOT ACCURACY
Utah Valley sophomore forward Julianna Carter ranks eighth in the entire nation in shot accuracy with a .676 mark. She also ranks 39th in the country with four game-winning goals. Amber Tripp ranks 52nd in shot accuracy at .579. As a team, Utah Valley ranks 44th nationally in total assists (30), 51st in total goals (34), and 48th in total points (98). The Wolverines rank 51st in shot accuracy at .514.

UTAH VALLEY HOLDS WAC'S SECOND-BEST RPI RANKING
Utah Valley holds the second-best RPI in the Western Athletic Conference at 131. The Wolverines trail Kansas City (98) and are followed by California Baptist (151), Seattle U (156), UTRGV (191), CSU Bakersfield (241), Grand Canyon (269), New Mexico State (279), and Chicago State (334).

CLYDE FIELD MAGIC, UVU RANKS 10TH NATIONALLY IN ATTENDANCE
Utah Valley holds an impressive 82-38-11 all time record at Clyde Field. The team has lost just seven matches over the past five seasons on the home pitch. UVU suffered its first losing record at home in 2018, going 3-4-1. UVU went 5-1-0 in 2017,  5-2-1 during the 2016 season and were unbeaten at home during the 2015 season with a 9-0-1 mark. The Wolverines went an impressive 8-1-1 at home this season. UVU ranks sixth in the nation in attendance this season as the Wolverines average 1,319 fans per game at Clyde Field.

BYU AT UVU IS EIGHTH MOST ATTENDED GAME OF THE SEASON IN THE NATION
Utah Valley's home match against BYU on Sept. 16 ranks as the eighth-most attended game of the season nationally this year. The match drew nearly 4,000 fans to Clyde Field where UVU finished the season with a 8-1-1 record. The attendance of the game against BYU was 3,952.

ABOUT SEATTLE U
Seattle U enters Saturday night's match against UVU with a 9-7-2 overall record and a 5-1-1 mark in WAC play. The team went 1-1-0 last week with a 4-2 loss at California Baptist and a 2-1 win at home against UTRGV. The Redhawks have won five of their last seven matches. SU is 5-3 at home this season. Those three losses have come to national contenders Washington State, USC, and Loyola Marymount. Seattle has not lost a WAC home match this season and sits a 3-0-0 at Championship Field in WAC play. The Redhawks have had 13 different players score a goal this season. Senior forward Jessie Ray leads the team with eight goals, followed by junior forward Leahi Manthei with six. Senior midfielder Holly Rothering has four goals and freshman midfielder Kelsey Crosby has three. Defensively, freshman keeper Madison Waguespack has led SU in the box, recording 71 saves and a .740 save percentage. She also has seven wins and five shutouts.

SERIES HISTORY VS. SEATTLE U
Utah Valley and Seattle U will meet on the pitch for the 19th time on Saturday night. SU holds an all-time 14-2-2 series advantage over the Wolverines. Seattle U won last year's match in Orem, 2-0. In the past four matches, SU owns just a 2-1-1 advantage. UVU's last win over the Redhawks came on Sept. 30, 2017 in Orem with the Wolverines taking a 3-0 win. UVU's two wins over the Redhawks in the all-time series came in the WAC Tournament championship match of the 2015 tournament and in 2017's regular season match in Orem. UVU has never defeated Seattle on its home pitch. UVU holds an all-time 0-7 record in games played in Seattle.
