UVU travels to Mountain West Champion Boise State

OPENING TIP
  • Utah Valley University wraps a short, two-game road swing on Tuesday at Boise State. Tip is set for 7 p.m. MT at ExtraMile Arena. 
  • Following Tuesday's game, the Wolverines (0-4) will play at home on Saturday and then spend the entire month of December in Utah, with four home games and two road contests at BYU (Dec. 14) and Weber State (Dec. 17)
  • Starting with Saturday's contest against Antelope Valley, UVU will play eight of its next 10 games at home including the first three WAC games.
  • Alexis Cortez leads the team with an average of 11.3 points per game while Eve Braslis is scoring 10.5 points and Jordan Holland averages 9.3 points and a team-high 7.3 rebounds. 
  • The Wolverines fell 67-53 at UC Riverside last Thursday after the Highlanders got off to a fast start and built an early lead. Braslis had 16 to lead the way for UVU. 

ABOUT THE BRONCOS
Boise State (3-3) is coming off of a 98-82 loss at unbeaten and No. 8/9 Louisville on Sunday. Braydey Hodgins and Rachel Bowers had 16 points apiece to lead the Broncos. Riley Lupfer leads a balanced offensive squad with 12.9 points per game with six players averaging 9.2 points or more. Boise State has won two straight Mountain West regular season titles and three straight MWC Tournament championships. BSU leads the all-time series 8-4 with the Wolverines having won the last two contests. The teams haven't met since 2015, a 72-70 Utah Valley win in Boise. UVU is 2-4 all-time at Boise State. 

COMING UP
Utah Valley hosts Antelope Valley on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Idaho State next Tuesday at 6 p.m. Both games will be played in the UCCU Center.
