OREM, Utah – Wolverine softball will find themselves on the road to Missoula, Montana for a three-game series against the Griz, starting with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. MT. The weekend finale will be Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. MT. Utah Valley will then make its way to Pocatello, Idaho for two games at Idaho State on Tuesday.
Utah Valley is currently in the midst of a three-game winning streak wins over Saint Mary's and a doubleheader sweep of in-state rival as Southern Utah.
Leaders for UVU over the last few victories include
Lyndsay Steverson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 in game one, collected 4 RBIs and hit a home run against Southern Utah.
Brianna Moeller had three batted in and also hit a homerun against SUU in game one and then hit for drove in four runs and hit another home run in game two.
Abby Doughty finished solid for the Wolverines, bringing some powerful momentum alongside a homerun and two RBIss at SUU.
Historically, UVU has gone 0-4 against Montana and a long-standing 24-19 against Idaho State over the years.

- Montana was 25-30 overall for the 2018 season
- The above wins included victories over WAC opponents, Seattle
- Finished fifth in the Big Sky at 10-11

- Idaho State was picked 6th in the Big Sky Preseason Poll
- Idaho State finished 13-34 and 8-13 in Big Sky Conference play for the 2018 season
On deck for UVU is the 2019 conference opener against Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. The two-day event will feature a doubleheader on March 22 followed by a single match-up on March 23.
