OREM, Utah – The Wolverine softball team heads into Western Athletic Conference play in a three-game series at Grand Canyon University, March 22-23. The UVU versus GCU matchup begins with a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. MT before Saturday's finale, which also starts at 5 p.m. MT.
Utah Valley is coming off a pair of losses at Idaho State, taking them into WAC play at 7-12.
Abby Doughty is batting .379 with three home runs and seven steals for the Wolverines while
Lyndsay Steverson is hitting .371 with five home runs and 21 runs batted in.
Skylar Cook's leads the team with nine stolen bases and had her impressive streak of 37 straight successful attempts end on Tuesday when she slid past the bag.
