UTAH VALLEY RETUNS HOME FOR WAC MATCHUP AGAINST NEW MEXICO STATE
Utah Valley will play its first semi-home games this week as the Wolverines welcome WAC foe New Mexico State to Zion's Bank Stadium and RSL Indoor Training Field on Thursday and Saturday in Herriman, Utah.  

The Wolverines head into this week's matches after opening WAC play with a 1-1 record at Grand Canyon in Phoenix last week. UVU opened its series against the 'Lopes with a 1-0 shutout win on Feb. 18 with Julianna Carter scoring the game winner in the 70th minute.  The Wolverines then dropped a 1-0 decision on a penalty kick in the 14th minute on Feb. 20. UVU played a woman down for 77 minutes of Saturday's match.

Through five matches this season, Brockbank leads the Wolverines in scoring with two goals. She also leads the team with 23 shots, including a team-best 14 on frame. Heather Stainbrook, Sydney Bushman, Anna Pickering, and Carter each have one goal this year. Stainbrook and Amber Tripp each have 12 shots each. Stainbrook leads UVU with two assists.  Isabel Jones-Dawe leads the team in the box with a 2-2-1 record. She has recorded 10 saves and owns a .769 save percentage.

As a team, Utah Valley has scored six goals while limiting opponents to just three. UVU has 79 shots with 42 on frame this season.

ABOUT NEW MEXICO STATE
New Mexico State holds a 2-3-0 overall record this season and a 2-0-0 mark in WAC play. The Aggies opened conference play last week with a two-match sweep at home over Chicago State. NM State defeated CSU 5-0 in its WAC opener on Feb. 20. The team then defeated the Cougars 6-1 on Feb. 22. Prior to its two wins over Chicago State, the Aggies had dropped three straight road games at Arizona State, UTEP, and Arizona. New Mexico State scored 11 of its 12 goals this season in its two wins over Chicago State. Sophomore midfielder Xitlaly Hernandez scored four goals in the series against CSU and leads the team in scoring. She recorded a hat trick in the 6-1 win on Feb. 22. Senior forward Shea O'Connor also recorded a hat trick in NM State's 5-0 win over CSU on Feb. 20. She ranks second on the team in scoring with her three goals this season. Junior keeper Makenna Gottschalk leads the team in the box with a 2-3-0 record. She has has 12 saves with nine goals allowed this season.

SERIES HISTORY VS. NM STATE
Utah Valley and New Mexico State will meet up on the pitch for the 10th time on Thursday night. Utah Valley has never dropped a game to the Aggies as the team holds a 7-0-2 all-time series lead. UVU is 2-0-1 against NM State all-time at home. UVU defeated the Aggies, 1-0, in Orem last season.
