OREM—Head coach Mark Madsen has announced that the men's basketball team will host open tryouts to full-time Utah Valley University students from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Utah Valley NUVI Basketball Practice facility on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
 
Students hoping to participate in the tryout will need to have completed a medical physical before participating, and submit proof of the physical. Participants will need to meet all requirements found in the tryout clearence packet, which should be downloaded and filled out completely, and submitted it to the men's basketball offices in the NUVI Center, or to the athletic compliance offices in the Wolverine Service Center (WSC) by Friday, Aug. 27.
 
Students must be enrolled in 12 credits minimum to tryout, be academically eligible, and have current, valid health insurance.
