"I thought we were mature and professional in the way we were able to grind out a win tonight," said Utah Valley head coach
Chris Lemay. "I'm always going to hold us to a high standard, and I don't think we hit that standard tonight. We can't keep going to steps forward and one step back. We've got to continue to improve on previous performances and tonight wasn't our best one, but we got a good result."
Jenna Shepherd came up from her backline position with the ball towards the box and passed it over to Webber. Webber quickly passed it in the middle of the box to
Hannah Lee who returned it right back to Webber. Webber then fired a shot past the SFA keeper on the left side and into the back of the net to give the Wolverines a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute.
