• Utah Valley continues non-conference road play as the team travels to the Grand Canyon State to take on Northern Arizona on Saturday, Dec. 10 at Rolle Activity Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
   
• Justin Harmon scored a game-high 19 points and Aziz Bandaogo added 14 to lead Utah Valley to a 75-60 win over crosstown rival and future Big 12 foe BYU on Wednesday night at the Marriott Center in Provo. The win is UVU's second straight victory over the Cougars as UVU took a 72-65 win over BYU last season in Orem.
   
• Le'Tre Darthard was named TicketSmarter WAC Player of the Week on Monday for his performance in UVU's 88-78 win over Long Beach State last week. Darthard scored his 25 points on an 8 of 12 clip from the field, including a career-high seven shots from beyond the arc. He also recorded four rebounds with three assists. The seven threes tie him for fourth on the all-time UVU single game list. He was just two threes shy of the UVU record of nine threes set by Jaden Jackson in 2016.
   
• Two of Utah Valley's four losses this season have come in overtime. The Wolverines dropped a 68-65 overtime decision at Wake Forest before falling 73-72 in overtime to Morgan State.
   
• Aziz Bandaogo ranks 14th in the nation in blocks (23), blocks per game (2.56), and double doubles (4). He also ranks 21st nationally in rebounds per game (9.8) and 22nd in total rebounds (88). As a team, UVU ranks 15th in the country in blocks per game at 5.7 swats a contest.

ABOUT NORTHERN ARIZONA
Northern Arizona enters Saturday's game against the Wolverines with a 4-7 overall record. Since UVU's win over the Lumberjacks on Nov. 12, NAU has gone 3-3 with two overtime losses. The team picked up a 73-69 road win at Pacific on Tuesday night. Junior guard Jalen Cone scored 22 points and graduate guard Xavier Fuller recorded an 18-point, 10-rebound double double to lead NAU to the road win over the Tigers. Cone leads the Lumberjacks in scoring at 14.4 points a game this season. He averages just over two three-point field goals a game. Carson Towt leads NAU on the boards, pulling down 9.1 rebounds a game. Towt also leads the team with 3.5 assists a contest. Northern Arizona averages nearly nine shots from long range per game and 15.1 assists per game. The Lumberjacks are averaging 72.1 points a game while shooting 41.5 percent from the floor. 

\SERIES HISTORY VS. NAU
Utah Valley and Northern Arizona will meet on the basketball hardwood for the sixth time on Saturday afternoon. UVU holds an all-time 3-2 advantage in the series. Utah Valley defeated NAU earlier this season in Orem, 73-69, on Nov. 12. UVU holds an all-time 1-1 record against NAU in Flagstaff. The Wolverines defeated NAU, 98-78, in the last matchup in Flagstaff on Dec. 8, 2018. Four of the five games in the series have been decided by six points or less.

DARTHARD NAMED TICKETSMARTER WAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Utah Valley junior guard Le'Tre Darthard has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. It is the first WAC Player of the Week honor of Darthard's career.

BLOCK PARTY
Newcomer Aziz Bandaogo has already established himself as one of the top shot blockers in the nation. Bandaogo ranks 14th in the country in blocks (23) and blocks per game (2.56). As a team, Utah Valley ranks 15th in the country in blocks per game at 5.7 swats a contest. 

SEEING DOUBLE
Aziz Bandaogo is nearly averaging a double double this season at 12.2 points and 9.8 rebounds a game. Bandaogo ranks 14th in the country with four double doubles this year. His 9.8 boards a game ranks him 21st nationally.

OVERTIME
