OREM—Utah Valley University women's soccer head coach
Chris Lemay has announced that Salt Lake Community College standout midfielder
Jordan Roe will transfer to play for the Wolverines.
"We are excited to announce the signing of Jordan," said Lemay. "Jordan is another junior college All-American that we will be adding to the program. Jordan has great experience having played in last year's NJCAA Final Four. She is composed, mature, has great vision and can be a threat from the top of the box. We have already started spring training and Jordan has acclimated well."
Roe, a 5-foot-4 midfielder from Billings, Montana, spent the 2022 season at Salt Lake Community College where she helped led the team to a second-place finish at the 2022 NJCAA National Tournament. She was named to the NJCAA All-America First Team and earned Region 18 First Team honors and the Region 18 Tournament MVP award. Roe also played Montana State Billings from 2020-21.
Roe prepped at Skyview High School in Billings, Montana where she led her team to a state title in 2018. She was named the 2018 Gatorade Player of the Year in 2018 and set a single season Class AA assist record with 20 assists. She was named to the All-State team and was named State Most Valuable Player. Roe earned SHS Offensive Player of the Year honors, team MVP honors, and team Rookie of the Year honors while at Skyview. She was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region team.
Roe has already enrolled at Utah Valley and will compete for the Wolverines this spring. She has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
