OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University coach
Scott Houle is sending a small group of Wolverines to compete at the Utah Open this Thursday in Salt Lake City. The women's 5k race begins at 1 p.m with the men competing at 1:45 p.m. at Sunnyside Park.
UVU is slated to have nine women compete:
Sophia Biesinger,
Gracie Glahn,
Graysen Lanenga,
Olivia Larsen,
Kelsi Lindley,
Emily Morden,
Caila Odekirk,
Liza Sybrowsky, and
Camille Winterton. The Wolverine men competing will be racing unattached.
The Wolverine women are ranked No. 27 in this week's USTFCCCA Top 30 Poll, the third straight poll the team has been ranked in. The team won the Arturo Barrios Invitational last week at Texas A&M and has won each of the five meets they've sent a full squad to so far this season.
Thursday's meet is the final competition prior to the WAC Championships, which will be next on Friday, Oct. 27 at Abilene Christian.
