Faith Webber each recorded a brace while the Wolverine defense picked up the clean sheet to lead Utah Valley to a 7-0 shutout win over Utah Tech on Senior Night in the Old Hammer Rivalry at Clyde Field.

Utah Valley improves to 9-3-5 overall and 6-0-2 in WAC play. The Wolverines extend their unbeaten streak to a program-best 11 games. UVU ends Utah Tech's unbeaten streak at 10 matches as the Trailblazers fall to 8-5-5 overall and 3-1-4 in WAC play.

Chris Lemay. "This group of six seniors are absolutely phenomenal, not just on the field as quality elite players, but also as people. What they have done and how they've helped build this program is amazing. We're going to try and celebrate these seniors by trying to make as deep a run as we can this season."

The Wolverines stay atop the WAC standings with a 6-0-2 record and 20 points. A Utah Valley win or tie against Southern Utah in the team's regular season finale on Monday night would secure the Wolverines their second straight WAC regular season title.

Thursday night's win marks the 75th victory of coach Lemay's career. Lemay has averaged 10.7 wins a season since becoming Utah Valley's head coach in 2017.Â

Utah Valley got on the scoreboard in the 25th minute after Webber sent a shot into the box that got deflected to the foot of
Nixan Jackson. Jackson toe-poked it out to
Sydney Bushman who fired a shot into the back of the net to give the Wolverines a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute.Â

The Wolverines scored just three minutes later in the 28th minute after
Jenna Shepherd Gremillion sent a ball to
Nicole Olanda on the left side of the field. Olanda then sent the ball to Stainbrook at the top of the box. Stainbrook then fired a shot with her left foot into the goal to give the Wolverines a 2-0 lead.Â

Sadie Beardall sent a cross into the box from the left side of the field in the 39th minute and
Ashley Garcia got a foot on it in midair and sent it across the goal line to put Utah Valley up 3-0.

Utah Valley kept the goals rolling in in the second half as Jackson sent a pass to Stainbrook at the top of the box in the 49th minute. Stainbrook fired a shot with her left foot and into the net to secure her brace and give the Wolverines a 4-0 advantage.

Jackson sent a cross in from the right side in the 57th minute to
Ruby Hladek who placed a shot into the goal to put UVU up 5-0.Â

Utah Valley scored again in the 58th minute after
Ashley Hughes sent a ball from the left side to Webber just inside the box. Webber sent a shot with her left foot into the back of the net to give Utah Valley a 6-0 cushion.

Webber scored again just five minutes later as Stainbrook sent a corner from the left side of the field into the box. Webber headed the corner into the back of the net to give the Wolverines a 7-0 lead in the 63rd minute.Â

Webber's two goals gives her 16 on the season, which breaks the UVU single season record of 14 goals, which Webber set last season. Webber now has 35 points this year, which ties her own UVU single season record of 35 set last season.Â

Utah Valley outshot Utah Tech 31-8 on the night, including a 16-1 advantage on frame. UVU had 10 corner kicks to Utah Tech's six. Webber led UVU with a match-best eight shots, followed by Stainbrook with seven.Â

Idalia Serrano combined for the shutout in the box as the UVU defense picked up its sixth clean sheet of the year.Â

Thursday's win marked 100 games played for both Shepherd Gremillion and Stainbrook. The 100 games are the most ever played in a career by a player in Utah Valley history.

Utah Valley celebrated its seniors in a ceremony prior to the match. Bushman, Hughes, Olanda, Serrano, Shepherd Gremillion, and Stainbrook were each honored. Â

Utah Valley will wrap up its regular season slate on Monday night against in-state foe Southern Utah. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. The Wolverines will then travel to Riverside, California for the WAC Tournament.Â
