THIRD TIME'S A CHARM
This will mark the third time UTA and UVU have met this season. The last time the Wolverines played a team three times in one season was 2021 when they played both in Orem, Salt Lake City, and then in the NCAA Tournament in Provo.
The last time they played a WAC team three times in a season was also in 2021 when they lost to Grand Canyon and NM State twice during the regular season, only to come back and beat them in the WAC Tournament.
WAC TOURNAMENT
The Wolverines are 12-8 overall in the WAC since joining the conference for the 2013 season and have won the tournament twice, first in 2020 during the spring COVID season, and they followed it up in the fall of 2021 for their second win. They have made at least the semifinals in each of the last seven years.
