OREM—Utah Valley women's soccer head coach Chris Lemay has announced his program's signing class. The Wolverines signed eight players who will join the team for the 2024 season.
 
Signing National Letters of Intent with the Wolverines are Sierra Bryan (Orem, Utah), Milly Keetch (Ladera Ranch, Calif.), Sarah Oyler (Provo, Utah), Bailey Peterson (Orem, Utah), Addison Rigtrup (Spanish Fork, Utah), Kate Shirts (Orem, Utah), Madi Wangsgard (Mountain Green, Utah), and Kate Wilson (Aliso Viejo, Calif.).
 
"We are once again brining in a great recruiting class," said Lemay. "These 2024s have a lot of athleticism and it is a competitive group that is excited to start competing for minutes right away. We are fortunate to have four of them joining us soon as January. We have added talent and depth to every line."
 
Bryan is a 5-foot-2 outside back from Orem. She earned numerous all-region honors for Mountain View High School. Bryan led MVHS to a regional title during her senior season with the Bruins. She played club for Utah Celtic FC.  
 
Keetch, a 5-foot-7 defender from Ladera Ranch, California, played for San Juan Hills High School. She led SJHHS to two straight South Coast League Championships and a CIF-SS Division I playoff appearance. She played club soccer for West Coast F.C., helping the team to numerous titles, including a GA national semifinal appearance. 
 
Oyler is a 5-foot-9 forward from Provo, Utah. She was a three-time all-region and two-time all-state honoree for Timpview High School where she earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. Oyler earned Larry H Miller High School Star Athlete of the Week honors this past season. She also played for La Roca FC. 
 
Peterson is a 5-foot-3 outside back from Orem. She led Mountain View High School to a regional championship this past season and earned multiple all-region honors during her career at MVHS. She played club for Utah Celtic FC. 
 
Rigtrup, a 5-foot-8 center midfielder, is from Spanish Fork, Utah. She played club for Utah Celtic FC and earned a ODP Far West regional championship in 2022. 
 
 
Shirts is a 5-foot-6 forward/midfielder from Orem. She scored an estimated 60 goals during her career at Mountain View High School and led the team to a regional championship this past season. She played club at Utah FC, Arsenal, and La Roca. 
 
Wangsgard is a 6-foot-0 goalkeeper from Mountain Green, Utah. She earned all-state honors at Morgan High School, helping the team to a state championship in 2021 and a regional title in 2022. She allowed only four goals this past season and was named the team's captain.
 
Wilson, a 5-foot-7 defender from Aliso Viejo, California, played at Aliso Niguel High School. She was a CIF qualifier in soccer and track. She played club at West Coast Academy.
