ST. GEORGE, Utah—Caden Weber fired a 2-under-par 70 in the second round of the Pizza Hut Pat Hicks Invitational on Saturday at Sunbrook golf course to move up three spots on the leaderboard into a tie for third heading into Sunday's final round. 
 
As a team, Utah Valley remains in second place on the 10-team leaderboard after carding a 2-over-par 290 on Saturday. The Wolverines are in second place with a two-round 6-under-par 570 (280-290). The Wolverines are just six strokes behind leader Utah State (-12). 
 
"We were just a bit off today," said Utah Valley head coach Chris Curran. "If we did something good, we'd give it away a few holes later. We are right in there as a team and in the mix individually and that's all you can ask for."
 
Weber shot a 2-under-par 70 in round two and is now tied for third in the 68-player field with a two-round 4-under-par 140 (70-70). Weber carded four birdies and 13 pars in round two, including three birdies on the back nine. 
 
Brady McKinlay shot a 2-over-par 74 on Saturday and is now alone in sixth place with a two-round score of 2-under-par 142 (68-74). 
 
Joseph Glenn moved up 10 spots on the individual leaderboard after carding a 1-under-par 71 in round two and is tied for seventh with a two-round 1-under-par 143 (72-71). Glenn tallied four birdies with three on the back nine in Saturday's round. 
 
Andrew Hawk, who is playing as an individual, shot an even par 72 on Saturday and moved up six places on the leaderboard. Hawk is now tied for seventh with a two-round 1-under-par 143 (71-72). 
 
Ethan Efford carded a 4-over-par 76 in round two and is tied for 22nd with a two-round 2-over-par 146 (70-76). Kai Iguchi shot a 3-over-par 75 in round two and is tied for 28th with a 3-over-par 147 (72-75). 
 
Evan Lawrence is playing as an individual and carded a 3-over-par 75 in round two and is now in 40th place with a two-round 5-over-par 149 (74-75). 
 
Utah Valley will wrap up play at the Pat Hicks Invitational on Sunday. The Wolverines will tee off in a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Live scoring will be available at GolfStat.com.
