For the first time in just over three weeks, the Utah Valley men's soccer team returns home to Clyde Field to host the Pacific Tigers out of the WCC. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. MDT and the match will be streamed live on ESPN+. Live stats will also be available at UVUStats.com.
LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley salvaged a draw out of its four-game road stretch in Oregon and California, drawing 1-1 with Cal Poly. Omar Yehya scored an 80th-minute equalizer off of a corner kick by Alejandro Silva to tie the game late for the Wolverines. Aden Mills, in his second collegiate game, looked like a seasoned veteran as he distributed the ball out of the back under pressure and came up with a pair of crucial saves, including a point-blank save after the ball caromed off the post.Â
ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
The Tigers of Pacific are off to a 3-2-2 start under fifth-year head coach Adam Reeves. The Tigers have already equaled their win total from last season, as Pacific posted a 3-12-2 in an injury-plagued 2022 campaign. Under Reeves, the Tigers have posted just one winning season, a 9-5-2 record in 2021.Â
Utah Valley and Pacific have three common opponents on their schedule. Both teams went to UC Santa Barbara, with Pacific falling 4-2 at Harder Stadium. The Tigers drew WAC foe San José State 1-1 in Stockton on Wednesday. Pacific will travel to Portland later this month when the Tigers and Pilots open WCC play.Â
BACK AT CLYDE FIELD
Utah Valley returns to Clyde Field for just the second time this season, after posting a 4-0 win over Kansas City back on August 24. The Wolverines have turned Clyde Field into a fortress since the start of last season. In 2022, Utah Valley went a perfect 5-0 at home, and allowed just one goal in 450 minutes played at Clyde Field. The Wolverines out-shot their opposition 65-37 at home, with a dominating 33-7 advantage in shots on goal. At the end of the regular season, Utah Valley ranked 23rd in the nation in shutout percentage with a .467 mark and seven clean sheets overall. Of UVU's 7 wins in 2022, 6 of them were shutouts, including 4 at home.
WOLVERINES SETTING THE PACE IN THE WAC IN SEVERAL OFFENSIVE CATEGORIESÂ
Utah Valley is among the league leaders in several offensive categories. The Wolverines lead the WAC in corner kicks, and shots per game, rank third in shots on goal per game, and rank fourth in goals scored.Â
SIGNORELLI NETS MILESTONE GOAL
Grad transfer Michele Signorelli netted his 50th collegiate goal in Saturday's game at UCSB. Signorelli scored 43 goals at JUCO Arizona Western before scoring 5 at St. Francis. Signorelli is now tied for the team high with 2 goals and is one of 7 different Wolverines to score this season.

Utah Valley ranks 13th in the nation in home attendance so far this season, with an average attendance of 1,628. It is the highest average attendance west of the Rockies and the third-highest average attendance west of the Mississippi, behind only Creighton and Oral Roberts. Utah Valley has consistently ranked among the top 30 teams in the nation in average attendance, including ranking 27th in 2022.
