ST. GEORGE, Utah—Utah Valley men's golf captured the team title at the 2024 Utah Shootout on Monday, finishing with a two-round score of 32-under-par 544 (270-274) at Sunbrook Golf Club.
Dane Huddleston led the way, claiming the individual title with a 12-under-par 132 (64-68).

The Wolverines outpaced three other Utah schools, winning the title by 14 strokes. Utah State finished second at 18-under-par, followed by Weber State in third (-6), and Southern Utah in fourth (+23).

Huddleston earned medalist honors with a standout performance, shooting an 8-under-par 64 in round one, highlighted by an eagle on the 281-yard, par-4 14th hole and seven birdies. He followed up with a 4-under-par 68 in round two, adding five more birdies.

Clement Lepine tied for third with a two-round total of 7-under-par 137 (68-69), recording eight birdies in the first round, including five on the back nine. He carded six birdies in his second-round 69.

Paxton Maxwell finished fifth with a 6-under-par 138 (71-67), carding 11 birdies over the two rounds.
Ryan Seamons tied for sixth at 5-under-par 139 (68-71), while
Ethan Efford finished eighth with a 4-under-par 140 (70-70).

Zachary Erskine, competing as an individual, tied for 10th with a 1-under-par 143 (72-71).
Isaiah Ellis, also playing individually, finished with a 7-over-par 151 (76-75).

Utah Valley will conclude its fall season at the Kapolei Invitational, Oct. 29-31, at Kapolei Golf Club in Kapolei, Hawaii.
