Utah Valley falls to 9-12 overall and 4-6 in WAC play. SFA improves to 13-8 overall and 6-4 in league play.

Trailing 71-69 with 1:08 to play, Utah Valley couldn't get any closer as the Lumberjacks outscored the Wolverines 6-5 the rest of the way to secure the 77-72 win in Nacogdoches.

Toolson scored his 20 points on a 7 of 15 clip from the field, including a career-best 5 of 7 mark from beyond the arc. He also pulled down eight rebounds on the night.

Stone-Carrawell knocked down 4 of 12 shots from the field, including a 3 of 9 mark from three-point range. He also had six rebounds with two assists and a block.

Ethan Potter was also in double figures, scoring a career-high 15 points. Potter was a perfect 7 of 7 from the floor. He pulled down seven rebounds with one steal and a block.

Drake Allen dished out a career-high 11 assists to go along with four points and three rebounds. The 11 assists tie him for the fifth most ever recorded in a single game in UVU history.

Utah Valley and Stephen F. Austin had identical shooting percentages on the night, each shooting a 44.6% clip. UVU knocked down a season-best 10 3-pointers while limiting SFA to just five. The Wolverines outrebounded SFA 40-33. UVU got 24 points from its bench on the night.

Utah Valley now returns to Orem to host WAC leader Grand Canyon on Saturday afternoon at the UCCU Center. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and over the airwaves on ESPN 960 AM radio.
