This Week  
The Utah Valley men's golf team travels to Arizona this week to compete in the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate, March 18-19, at Tuscon Country Club. 

Tournament Format  
The 14-team field will be participating in a 54-hole tournament to be played at Tuscon Country Club. The event will feature 54 holes over two days with the first two rounds being played on Monday and the final 18-hole round played on Tuesday. 

Quoting Head Coach Chris Curran 
"We will playing on a really fun golf course this week. It was completely rennovated this past year. The greens will be incredible. The guys are excited to get after it after the Bandon Dunes Championship was rained out." 
 
Last Time Out  
Dane Huddleston shot a final-round 2-over-par 74 on Feb. 27 to lead Utah Valley with a 13th place finish at the Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club with a three-round score of 6-under-par 210 (69-67-74). Utah Valley carded an 11-over-par 299 in the final round to fall seven spots on the 20-team leaderboard to finish in a tie for 11th with a three-round score of 5-under-par 859 (287-273-299).  
  
About Tuscon Country Club

The 18-hole course (7000+ yards) is tree-lined, in a Midwestern style of design. It is the best walking course in Tucson, with nature's abundant creatures surviving and thriving in this area. Tucson Country Club provides a tremendous golf experience for all levels of golfers. Kids and beginning players can comfortably develop their games. Tournament Field  
The 14-team field will include host Arizona, Central Arkansas, Abilene Christian, Long Beach State, Sacramento State, UTEP, Wyoming, George Washington, Nevada, New Mexico, Denver, New Mexico State, Utah State, and Utah Valley.

Team UVU  
Competing for UVU this week will be Dane Huddleston, Ryan Seamons, Kai Iguchi, Isaiah Ellis, and Zachary Erskine.  
  
Utah Valley will begin teeing off at 8:30 a.m. (PT). UVU will be paired up with golfers from UTEP and Arizona in the first round. Live scoring will be available at SmartGolf.Online.
