FRESNO, Calif.—The Utah Valley women's golf team shot a final-round 19-over-par 307 to move up two spots on the leaderboard to finish in 18th place at the Fresno State Classic at Copper River Country Club with a three-round 62-over-par 926 (306-313-307).

The Wolverines placed 18th on the 21-team leaderboard, finishing ahead of WAC foe California Baptist (+63), Hawaii (+63), and UC Irvine (+82). Colorado State won the team title with a three-round 3-over-par 867 (284-296-287).

Caylyn Ponich carded a final-round 2-over-par 74 to finish in a tie for 44th on the 116-player leaderboard with a three-round 9-over-par 225 (77-74-74). Ponich recorded three back-nine birdies in her final round on Tuesday.Â

Abbey Porter shot a 2-over-par 74 in the final round to move up 15 spots on the leaderboard and finish in a tie for 72nd with a three-round score of 14-over-par 230 (77-79-74). Porter had a pair of birdies in her final round.

Chloe Jang shot a 5-over-par 77 in the final round to finish tied for 97th with a three-round 21-over-par 237 (81-79-77). Jang had a pair of back-nine birdies in her final round.

Maria Ortiz, who played individually, carded a 9-over-par 81 in the final round to finish in a tie for 97th with a three-round 21-over-par 237 (73-83-81). Ortiz had two birdies on the back nine in her final round.

Millie Terrion carded a 10-over-par 82 on Tuesday to finish in 111th place with a three-round score of 35-over-par 251 (78-91-82). Terrion had one birdie to go along with 10 pars in her final round.
