PAYSON, Ariz.—The Utah Valley men's golf team shot a second-round score of 14-over-par 302 on Saturday and is now alone in seventh place with a two-round 19-over-par 595 (293-302) at the WAC Championship at The Golf Club at Chaparral Pines.
UVU (+19) is only nine shots behind leader Tarleton State (+10) on the 11-team leaderboard. UT Arlington (+11) and Grand Canyon (+11) are tied for the second spot, followed by California Baptist (+12) in fourth, UTRGV (+15) in fifth, and Abilene Christian (+17) in sixth.

Dane Huddleston led UVU in round two with a 2-over-par 74 and is now tied for seventh on the 55-player individual leaderboard with a two-round score of 2-over-par 145 (71-74). Huddleston recorded two back-nine birdies to go along with 12 pars in round two.
Ethan Efford carded a 5-over-par 77 on Saturday and is tied for 13th with a two-round 4-over-par 148 (71-77). Efford tallied three birdies in round two, including two on the back nine. He also had nine pars on the day.
Ryan Seamons shot a 4-over-par 76 in round two and is tied for 32nd with a two-round score of 8-over-par 152 (76-76). Seamons had a tap-in eagle on the 475-yard par 5 12th hole on Saturday and notched a pair of birdies.
Kai Iguchi shot a second-round 3-over-par 75 and is now tied for 37th with a two-round 10-over-par 154 (79-75). Iguchi had two birdies and 12 pars in round two.
Zachary Erskine carded an 8-over-par 80 on Saturday and is tied for 40th with a two-round score of 11-over-par 155 (75-80). Erskine had two birdies and seven pars in round two.
Utah Valley will wrap up play at the WAC Championship on Sunday. The Wolverines will begin teeing off in the final round at 8:50 a.m. (PT). Live scoring will be available at BirdieFire.com.
