Kai Iguchi shot an opening-round 4-over-par 76 and is tied for seventh at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Individual Championship at Championship Course at TPC Sawgrass.
Iguchi is just four shots off the lead after one round of play at 4-over-par 76. He trails Delaware's Sahasawat Ariyachatvakin who shot an even par 72 in the opening round and sits atop the leaderboard.
The PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship is a tournament representing Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic-serving institutions and other Minority-serving institutions who will compete across five divisions in the 54-hole, stroke-play event.
NBC Sports is providing live broadcast coverage of the PWCC on GOLF Channel, Monday through Wednesday May 6-8 from 3-6 pm ET. PGA.com will stream the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship live throughout all three days of the Championship.
Iguchi will continue play at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship on Tuesday in round two. He will tee off at 9:50 a.m. (ET) on the TPC Sawgrass Valley Course.
