OREM—Former Utah Valley University men's basketball standout Trey Woodbury will be a member of the Indiana Pacers 2024 Rookie/Free Agent Camp, which will take place July 6-9 at the Ascension St. Vincent Center in preparation for the NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024 games, which will take place in Las Vegas from July 12-22.
Woodbury is a member of the Pacers' 15-player roster that will play in this year's NBA 2K25 Summer League. The former Wolverine joins the Indiana Pacers fresh off his professional rookie season with Brose Bamberg in the Bundesliga (BBL)—the highest-level league of professional basketball in Germany.
The Las Vegas native averaged 14.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game for Brose Bamberg during the 2023-24 season. He played in 34 games, helping the team to a 15-19 overall record.
Woodbury led Utah Valley to a pair of WAC regular season championships and a run to the semifinals of the National Invitation Tournament (2023) during his UVU career. He averaged 13.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists during the 2022-23 season, leading Utah Valley to a school-record 28 wins and a trip to the semifinals of the NIT. He became just the third UVU player to record a triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in UVU's outright WAC-clinching win over Stephen F. Austin on March 3, 2023. Woodbury became just the ninth Utah Valley player in program history to reach the 1,000-point mark and ranks eighth on UVU's all-time career scoring list with 1,085 points. In his four seasons with the Wolverines, Woodbury averaged 11.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. He played 91 career games for Utah Valley.
