PULLMAN, Washington—
Isaiah Ellis and
Ryan Seamons each carded a two-round score of 1-under-par 141 to lead Utah Valley on the first day of play at the Palouse Collegiate on Tuesday at Palouse Ridge Golf Club.
As a team, Utah Valley shot a two-round 5-under-par 563 (275-288) and is in 12th place on the 15-team leaderboard. Utah sits atop the team leaderboard at 35-under-par 533.
Ellis carded a two-round 1-under-par 141 (69-72) on the day and is tied for 37th place. Ellis carded five birdies in round one to finish at 2-under-par 69. He then shot a 1-over-par 72 in round two with four birdies.
Seamons is also tied for 37th with a two-round 1-under-par 141 (68-73). Seamons recorded an impressive 3-under-par 68 with five birdies and 13 pars. He then shot a 2-over-par 73 in round two with four birdies and 10 pars.
Ethan Efford shot a two-round even par 142 (70-72) and is tied for 48th.
Dane Huddleston is also tied for 48th after carding a two-round score of even par 142 (71-71). Freshman
Paxton Maxwell carded a two-round 2-over-par 144 (68-76) and is tied for 61st.
Utah Valley will play the final round of the Palouse Collegiate on Wednesday. The Wolverines will tee off in a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. (MT).
