OREM—No. 11 Utah State scored three first-half goals to secure a 3-0 win over Utah Valley on Thursday night at Clyde Field.

Utah Valley drops its third straight game, falling to 2-3-1 overall on the season. Utah State improves to a perfect 6-0-0 on the year.
"Ironically, I thought we played well tonight," said Utah Valley head coach
Chris Lemay. "We had a couple of unfortunate scenarios that turned into goals for them, so credit to Utah State for capitalizing on their opportunities. But overall, I think if we play like that consistently, we're going to win a lot more games than we lose. I was disappointed in the Virginia game and the second half against Long Beach, but tonight I told the players to keep their heads high because there was a lot more good than bad in that match. We'll take what we can grow from and keep building towards playing our best soccer in October and November."
