1/30/2025 12:36:00 PM

This Week
The Utah Valley women's golf team will open its spring season by hosting the Wigwam Preview, Feb. 2-4, at The Wigwam Blue Course in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

Tournament Format
The 10-team field will compete in a 54-hole stroke play tournament at the par-72, 5,885-yard Wigwam Blue Course. A single 18-hole round will be played each day from Friday, Feb. 2, through Sunday, Feb. 4. Tee times will begin at 9 a.m. (MT) each day.

Tournament Field
The 10-team field includes Utah Valley (host), British Columbia, California Baptist, Idaho State, Seattle U, Southern Utah, Tarleton State, UT Arlington, and Utah Tech.

Tournament Stats
Live scoring will be available through Clippd Scoreboard: About the Course
The Wigwam Blue Course is a classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. design, known for its combination of sportiness and subtlety. The par-72, 5,885-yard layout features small, elevated greens that demand precision on approach shots. While not as long as its sister Gold Course, the Blue Course provides a unique challenge with strategic bunkering and a layout that rewards accuracy over power. A favorite among both skilled and beginning golfers, the Blue Course offers an excellent test of short and mid-iron play.

From Head Coach Juli Erekson
"We're so happy to start the spring season early this year and get out on grass. We have a great opportunity to compete with multiple conference teams in what is essentially a WAC preview setting. It will be great reps on the championship course to prepare for April. We have a strong squad traveling, with Chloe leading the pack. With minimal qualifying time, we're looking forward to the upcoming three events in a row to really solidify our team for the rest of the season."
