Utah Valley University is set to host league-leading Grand Canyon University on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. MT in Lockhart Arena. The Wolverines (13-6, 5-2) are riding a four-game win streak, including three straight during a homestand that concludes on Saturday. The game marks the halfway point to the 16-game regular season conference schedule. Â
Tahlia White has upped her season average to 10.6 points per game while also averaging 15.6 per in seven WAC games, which ranks sixth in the league. White is averaging 17.0 per game during the current win streak. Danja Stafford Collins currently ranks second in the WAC in rebounds per game (9.2), and leads the league total rebounds (175) and offensive rebounds per game (4.5), which also ranks ninth nationally. In a win last week over Seattle U, Amanda Barcello made four 4-pointers or more for the fourth time this season. The junior has upped her 3-point percentage to north of 40% on the season while also making a least one triple in each of the last six games.Â
As a team, the Wolverines continue to lead the WAC and rank third in the country with 14.3 steals per game. UVU is also seventh in the country with 24.5 turnovers forced per game, 32nd in offensive rebounds per game (14.4) and 26th in bench points per game (26.3).Â

Saturday's game will be the annual Play4Kay Pink Game with Hoops for Hope t-shirts given out to the first 100 fans. Additional shirts will also be thrown out to the crowd during the second half. Prior to the starting lineup, UVU Athletics and women's basketball will honor several survivors and fighters, including Angie Vise, Kathy Povilus, Cheryl Miller, Joelene Grishman Call, Karina Searle, Lili Larsen, Tammy Mangino, Rolayne Hansen

Six players reached double figures as Utah Valley University pushed its win streak to four straight with a decisive 99-55 win over Seattle University on Saturday afternoon in the UCCU Center. White led the way with 23 points to go along with a career-high eight assists, seven steals, and seven rebounds. Barcello, who went 6-for-8 from the field including 4-for-6 from three, matched her career-high with 17 points and tied Saige Gibb's program record for steals in a game with eight. Cambree Blackham scored 14, on 4-for-5 shooting, while Stafford Collins, Kylee Mabry, and Gibb each scored 11 points. All 10 Utah Valley players in uniform got into the scoring column on Saturday.
The Wolverines took advantage of an opponent season-high 36 turnovers by the Redhawks to the tune of 46 points. In the first half alone, Seattle U had 22 turnovers, leading to 23 UVU points and a 44-19 halftime lead. Utah Valley finished with 25 steals, its highest total ever against a Division I opponent.
ABOUT THE OPPOSITION
Grand Canyon is ranked No. 5 in this week's CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 and enters the week with 18 straight wins, the second-longest streak in the country and trailing only top-ranked UCLA. The Lopes defeated Seattle U on the road, 88-50, on Thursday night. GCU outlasted UVU, 71-59, in the earlier meeting this season in Phoenix. White had 16 to lead UVU while Laura Erikstrup's 22 points led all scorers.
