Utah Valley Snapshot
UVU (6-4-1, 2-0-0 WAC) rides a two-match league surge after a 5–0 win over Tarleton State and a 5–1 victory over Abilene Christian—10 goals in two WAC matches. Against ACU, Josie Shepherd scored twice with additional goals from Faith Webber, Ruby Hladek, and Jacey Wood; in the opener, Webber and Nixan Jackson each recorded braces and Hladek added a fifth. Jackson (Offensive) and defender Mia Owens (Defensive) earned this week's WAC Player of the Week honors, and Jackson also earned TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week honorable mention. Nationally (as of Oct. 1), Faith Webber ranks No. 1 in shots per game and No. 16 in shots on goal per game, while Hladek sits top-20 in points per game (1.8). Webber has 55 career goals (UVU record) and 126 points. Goalkeeper Leah Wolf has played nearly every minute this season.

Utah Valley is once again on the national radar, receiving three votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll, its first appearance among teams receiving votes this season. The Wolverines are also ranked No. 1 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Pacific Region Top-10 poll. Utah Valley (6-4-1, 2-0-0) returns to the national conversation while leading the region after a strong start to WAC play. UVU holds a top-100 RPI at No. 60 this week, the best mark in the WAC, and owns the nation's 62nd-toughest schedule to date.

This marks the ninth time in program history that Utah Valley has been among the teams receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll, dating back to the program's first appearance in 2022. UVU has not yet cracked the top 25.
