Morgan Nokes took the top spot for the women's squad, finishing 18th overall and breaking the previous Gans Creek course record with a 19:43.7 6k time. Ari Trimble (21:34.5) and Julie Moore (21:41.8) capped off the scoring at 174th and 189th respectively.

On the men's side, Sila Kiplagat was the team's top finisher at 59th overall in his first race in America. Porter Whitworth (23:53.0) and Wyatt Mortenson (23:55.0) were the next Wolverines across the line, finishing 108th and 112th respectively. Alex Hartshorn (24:36.5) and Trey Despain (24:44.5) rounded out the team scoring at 190th and 200th. The men finished ahead of four squads who were receiving votes in the USTFCCCA national poll.

After Saturday's race, the Wolverines will take a week off before wrapping up the regular season in New Jersey at the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday, Oct. 17. The women will race first at 8:30 a.m. MDT, followed by the men at 9:15.
