OREM—The Utah Valley University women's soccer team is once again on the national radar, receiving three votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll, its first appearance among teams receiving votes this season. The Wolverines are also ranked No. 1 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Pacific Region Top-10 poll.
Utah Valley (6-4-1, 2-0-0) returns to the national conversation while leading the region after navigating a demanding non-conference slate and opening WAC play with two wins. UVU holds a top-75 RPI at No. 60 this week, the best mark in the WAC, and owns the nation's 62nd-toughest schedule to date.
This marks the ninth time in program history that Utah Valley has been among the teams receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll, and it is the fourth straight season the Wolverines have earned votes. The program has yet to crack the Top 25.
Up next, Utah Valley hosts WAC foe California Baptist on Friday at 7 p.m. at UCCU Stadium. The match will air on ESPN+.
