Utah Valley Wraps Up Fall Slate at The Clash at Boulder Creek

UPCOMING
The Utah Valley University women's golf team wraps up its fall schedule this week at The Clash at Boulder Creek, Oct. 27–28, at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The two-day, 54-hole tournament is hosted by Northern Arizona University and features a highly competitive field of 18 Division I programs from across the West.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament will open Monday with 36 holes of continuous play, beginning with an 8 a.m. MT shotgun start. Tuesday's final round will also tee off at 8 a.m. MT to determine team and individual champions.

TOURNAMENT FIELD
The 2025 field includes Northern Arizona, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge, Drake, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Nebraska, New Mexico State, North Dakota State, San Francisco, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, Tarleton State, UC Riverside, Utah Tech, UTEP, and Utah Valley.

COURSE INFORMATION
Boulder Creek Golf Club will serve as host, utilizing the Desert Hawk and Coyote Run nines for the event. The course will play as a par 72 at 6,429 yards. Located in Boulder City, Nevada, the desert-style layout features wide fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and multi-tiered greens that reward aggressive yet precise shot-making.

  3. Rylie Rodriguez

  4. Mia Pace

  5. Chloe Jang

Competing as individuals: Alyssa Butterfus and Jacklyn Gonzalez.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley posted a strong team showing at the Kelsey Chugg Invitational earlier this month, highlighted by consistent performances from seniors Rylie Rodriguez and Pati Uluave and junior Chloe Jang. The Wolverines will look to close the fall on a high note before turning their attention to the spring championship season.

LOOKING AHEAD
Following The Clash at Boulder Creek, Utah Valley will break for the winter before opening its spring slate at the Soboba Spring Classic, Feb. 4-6.
