OREM — Six Utah Valley University women's soccer student-athletes have been named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators. Faith Webber, Ruby Hladek, Mia Owens, Leah Wolf, Marie Quentel and Taylor Nelson all earned Academic All-District distinction, recognizing their combined excellence in the classroom and on the field.

Webber, Hladek and Owens were also designated as Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Dec. 16.

Utah Valley's six selections helped lead the Wolverines to another standout year academically and athletically. On the field, the Wolverines finished the season 14-5-3, captured their fourth straight WAC regular-season title and earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament. In the classroom, UVU continues to uphold one of the strongest academic traditions in the region, with all six honorees playing key roles across the 2025 campaign.

Faith Webber, a graduate forward and four-time first-team All-WAC selection, turned in one of the most prolific seasons in program history. She led UVU with 22 goals and 48 points, both of which are UVU single season records. She finished her career at UVU as the program's all-time leading goal scorer and points getter. Her 22 goals led the nation and her 48 points ranked second nationally. She led the country in shots per game (6.82) and shots on goal per game (3.14).

Ruby Hladek, a senior forward/midfielder, earned her place on the ballot behind a 15-goal, 13-assist season that helped fuel UVU's high-powered attack. Her 13 assists ranked fifth nationally as she added another Academic All-District honor to her career résumé. Hladek was named this year's WAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Mia Owens, a junior defender, started all 22 matches and anchored a back line that recorded seven shutouts. She earned WAC Defensive Player of the Year honors after anchoring the UVU back line.

Leah Wolf, Utah Valley's starting goalkeeper in all 22 matches, tallied 82 saves and three solo shutouts while posting a 14-5-3 record. She helped UVU finish with an 8-7 advantage in shots on goal in its NCAA Tournament match at Colorado, closing an impressive senior season.

Marie Quentel, a senior forward/midfielder contributed three goals and seven assists in 20 appearances, emerging as one of UVU's most efficient playmakers while excelling academically.

Taylor Nelson, a senior defender, started all 22 matches and logged more than 1,700 minutes. A key presence on Utah Valley's back line, she added two goals and three assists during the season.

Academic All-District honorees were selected for their combined athletic and academic performance and represent the top student-athletes across NCAA Division I women's soccer.
