OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's volleyball will make its third appearance in the NCAA Tournament this week when it takes on No. 2 Stanford on Friday, Dec. 5. The match is scheduled to begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of Arizona vs. South Dakota State from Maples Pavillion.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines are coming off a win at the 2025 WAC Tournament, where they defeated the host Abilene Christian in the semifinals before beating Utah Tech in the Championship match on Saturday night.
Avery Page was named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after recording 22 kills on 72 swings during the match, which was a career high for her.
Evalyn Chism earned All-Tournament Team honors after recording 54 assists, which was four off a career-high for the WAC Setter of the Year. She did record a career-high 21 digs in the match as the Wolverines tallied 88 digs.
Bella Wooden finished with ten kills on 18 swings, which was a season-high. She also earned Tournament Team honors while recording ten total blocks.
SCOUTING THE CARDINAL
The Cardinal finished the season 27-4 and 18-2 in the ACC. Elia Rubin has 333 kills, averages 4.00 points per set, and has added 41 aces from behind the service line. She was selected in the fourth round of the Major League Volleyball draft by the San Diego Mojo. Setters Logan Park and Taylor Yu both average six assists per set, with Parks coming in with 845 assists and 9.83 assists per set.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST STANFORD
Stanford and Utah Valley will be meeting for the first time on the volleyball court. It will be the third opponent that UVU has faced for the first time this season, after having played against Coastal Carolina and St. John's, which they both played during the non-conference portion of the schedule.
UVU ALL-TIME IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
The Wolverines return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2021 season on Friday night. They hold a 0-2 all-time record in the tournament with losses to Texas State (Spring 2021 season) and Utah (Fall 2021).
UP NEXT
A win over Stanford on Friday night would move the Wolverines into the second round on Saturday, Dec. 6 when they would play either South Dakota State or Arizona in that matchup.
