OREM, Utah – Utah Valley women's basketball team tips off December on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2:00 p.m. MT against Air Force. It will be the first of three home games during the month and the third matchup between the two programs since December 2024.

The Wolverines are coming off a loss to Nevada on Monday, Nov. 24.
Tessa Chaney had 13 of Utah Valley's 42 points in the outing after going 5-for-9 shooting and 3-for-4 from the line. She added a career-high four steals as Utah Valley forced 16 steals from the Wolf Pack.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Air Force enters the contest 4-4 on the year and finished 1-1, including a 59-49 win over Wright State. Senior Milahnie Perry leads the Falcons with 17.1 PPG this season. The two-time All-Mountain West selection scored 27 points on Thursday against Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton and had 20 earlier this season against Portland State. Defense has been a struggle this season, with opponents shooting over 47 percent against them this season.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST AIR FORCE
Utah Valley and Air Force have a long athletic history, with the Falcons and Wolverines sharing conferences in other sports, including wrestling (Big 12) and men's soccer (WAC). This will be the 9th time the two have met on the hardwood, with UVU holding a 5-3 advantage. The two met twice last season, both times at Air Force. The Falcons won the regular season game, 76-58, but Utah Valley topped them in the first round of the WNIT 70-64 for its first postseason win in the D1 era.
UP NEXT
The Wolverines will travel to Kansas City to take on the Roos on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 12:00 p.m. MT / 1:00 p.m. CT from the Swinney Athletic Center. It will be Utah Valley's first visit to Kansas City since the 2019-2020 season, when they shared membership in the WAC. UVU will return home to the UCCU Center for its final two non-conference games against La Sierra (Dec. 16) and Idaho State (Dec. 20).
