Rodriguez Leads Utah Valley at BGSU Women’s Intercollegiate

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. Rylie Rodriguez shot a 1-over-par 72 to lead Utah Valley in Wednesday's final round of the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate at Wigwam Resort, securing the first top-20 finish of her career. She tied for 15th with a three-round score of 16-over-par 229 (75-82-72).

As a team, Utah Valley carded a final-round 19-over-par 303 to finish 10th in the 14-team field with a three-round total of 81-over-par 977 (332-318-327).

Rodriguez's final round included three birdies, highlighted by back-to-back birdies on the par-5, 511-yard first hole and the par-3, 207-yard second hole. Her 72 moved her up 20 spots on the leaderboard, earning her a tie for 15th in the 80-player field.

Valentina Zuleta shot a 3-over-par 74 in the final round to finish tied for 27th at 18-over-par 231 (77-80-74). She recorded two birdies on Wednesday.

Mia Pace posted a 10-over-par 81 in the final round, tying for 53rd with a three-round total of 25-over-par 238 (80-77-81). She tallied three birdies, including two on the back nine.

Pati Uluave finished in a tie for 63rd with a three-round total of 31-over-par 244 (78-87-79) after shooting an 8-over-par 79 in the final round. She had a birdie on the front nine.

Chloe Jang carded a final-round 7-over-par 78 to finish tied for 67th at 34-over-par 247 (88-81-78).

Millie Terrion, competing as an individual, shot a final-round 14-over-par 85 to finish tied for 71st at 35-over-par 248 (80-83-85).

Weber State claimed the team title with a three-round score of 52-over-par 904 (292-315-297). Abilene Christian's Ryann Honea and UTEP's Nawel Ben Letaief shared individual medalist honors, each finishing with a 5-over-par 218 (72-72-74).

Utah Valley will continue its spring season at the Great River Cup, set for Feb. 17-18 at Windance Country Club in Gulfport, Mississippi.
