OREM, Utah – Utah Valley wrestling returns to Utah after spending most of January on the road. The Wolverines will wrestle No. 20 West Virginia on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 6:00 p.m. MT from Layton High School; they will return home for their clash with Air Force on Friday, Feb. 7 at 7:00 p.m. MT.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wolverines went 1-1 last week in dual action in the Dakotas. 141-pounder
Haiden Drury finished the weekend 2-0, including a ranked win over South Dakota State's No. 21 Julian Tagg before ending the weekend with a technical fall over Gideon Abel-Cole.
Terrell Barraclough continued his post-season climb with a pair of major decisions on the weekend to move to 20-1 on the year, including 11 consecutive victories. Layton native
Kael Bennie went 2-0 as well with a decision and a major decision over the Bison.
SCOUTING WEST VIRGINIA
The Mountaineers are 8-6 and 2-5 in Big 12 action this year. They are led by Peyton Hall who is currently No. 3 in the country and two-team All-American and will have the highlight match of the night against No. 4 Barraclough. WVU's 125-pounder Jett Strickenberger qualified for the NCAA Tournament and has seen time at 125 and 133. He fell at CKLV to
Kase Mauger in an opening-round upset. They have three others ranked in the polls, with Brody Conley at 174, coming in at No. 26 by FloWrestling, and 197 Ian Bush at No. 33.
SCOUTING AIR FORCE
This season, the Falcons are 4-5 overall and 0-5 in Big 12. Gage Musser leads them at 184 pounds and enters the rankings this week at No. 31 by Flo. They have a young team, with six of their starters being underclassmen. At 174 pounds, Jack Ganos has tallied 12 wins this season and has the experience to help them in the dual.

Kaden Bennie all graduated from Layton High School and will return home to their high school grounds this week in the dual against WVU.
Barraclough will have the unique chance to return to his high school mat during his final year of collegiate wrestling.
UP NEXT
Utah Valley will close the regular season on Friday, Feb. 14, at 7:00 p.m. MT against (RV) Northern Colorado. The match will serve as UVU's senior night, during which the Wolverines will honor Barraclough and Mauger.
