Zuleta Leads Wolverines on Final Day at Chevron Silverado Showdown

NAPA, Calif. — Valentina Zuleta carded a final-round 3-over-par 75 on Wednesday to lead Utah Valley during the closing round of the Chevron Silverado Showdown at Silverado Country Club. The Wolverines posted a team score of 25-over-par 313, finishing 16th overall at 71-over-par 935 (317-305-313).

Zuleta's final-round 75 moved her up one spot into a tie for 65th place at 15-over-par 231 (81-75-75). She recorded two birdies on the back nine and 13 pars in her final round.

Chloe Jang shot a 4-over-par 76 on Wednesday, finishing as UVU's top individual in a tie for 53rd at 12-over-par 228 (75-77-76). Jang tallied two birdies and 10 pars in her final round.

Pati Uluave carded a final-round 6-over-par 78, placing her in a tie for 73rd at 18-over-par 234 (79-77-78). Uluave finished her round with two birdies and 10 pars.

Maria Ortiz posted a final-round 12-over-par 84, tying for 85th place at 26-over-par 242 (82-76-84). Ortiz recorded nine pars on Wednesday.

Millie Terrion rounded out the UVU scoring, finishing 88th after shooting a final-round 90. Terrion closed at 34-over-par 250 (82-78-90), registering one birdie and five pars in her final round.

Northwestern claimed the team title at 3-under-par 861, while Northwestern's Lauryn Nguyen captured individual medalist honors with a 9-under-par 207.

Utah Valley now turns its attention to the 2025 WAC Championship, April 14-16, at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
