Barraclough heads to Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament

OREM, Utah – 2025 NCAA All-American Terrell Barraclough returns to action this weekend in USA Wrestling's Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky.
 
The winner will advance to Final X and face Mitchell Mesenbrink in a two-out-of-three format for the right to represent the USA at the 2025 Senior World Championships. Final X is scheduled for June 14 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
 
Barraclough qualified for the Senior World Team Trials Challenge Tournament after his fifth-place finish at the U.S Open last month in Las Vegas. He finished 5-2 with his only losses coming to Quincy Monday (NJRTC / Titan Mercury WC) and Jarrett Jacques (Tiger Style WC), who advanced to this weekend's tournament and will be joined by six others in the field.
 
The pre-seeds were announced yesterday, with Barraclough coming fifth. David Carr is the top seed, followed by Monday, Jacques, and Michael Caliendo, coming in at 1-4.
