ATLANTA – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its annual Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll on Tuesday, with Utah Valley coming in at No. 10 among NCAA Division I programs with a 3.716 team GPA.
This marks the Wolverines' first appearance on the honor roll since the 2017–18 season, when they ranked No. 16.
Earlier this year, Saige Gibb, Kylee Mabry, Tahlia White, and Halle Nelson were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. UVU had ten who earned Academic All-WAC honors during the 2024-2025 season
"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew. "The 119 teams we honor this year strive to achieve all-around success, and we commend their efforts. Congratulations!"
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball programs in all NCAA divisions that recorded the highest combined GPAs—including all student-athletes on the roster—for the entire season. The 2024–25 campaign marks the 30th year the WBCA has compiled the honor roll.
Utah Valley Athletics won its fifth consecutive WAC Academic Excellence Award for the 2024-2025 season with a department GPA of 3.52.
