FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Freshman
Ty Brady fired a final-round 1-over-par 71 to finish tied for seventh at the Ram Masters Invitational at Fort Collins Country Club with a three-round total of 2-under-par 208 (66-71-71).
Utah Valley carded an 11-over-par 291 on Wednesday to place sixth in the 16-team field at 17-over-par 857 (281-285-291). Long Beach State won the team title at even-par 840.
Brady posted two birdies in his closing round to secure a top-10 finish in his first collegiate tournament.
Paxton Maxwell shot a 4-over-par 74 to tie for 20th at 4-over-par 214 (69-71-74).
Colby Hutchens turned in a 74 to tie for 32nd at 7-over-par 217 (71-72-74).
JJ Tomsick closed with a 2-over-par 72 to tie for 60th at 14-over-par 224 (81-71-72), while
Isaiah Ellis finished with a 75 to tie for 63rd at 15-over-par 225 (75-75-75).
Competing as an individual,
Andrew Hawk shot a 77 to tie for 76th at 19-over-par 229 (75-77-77).
Utah Valley continues its fall slate at the Utah Wohali Invitational, Sept. 15–16, at Soldier Hollow Golf Course in Midway, Utah.
